Imam-ul-Haq’s record breaking 151 in Bristol ODI against England
A cause of celebration just before the World Cup for Pakistan team as batsman Imam-ul-Haq smashed 151 runs against England in Bristol. Pakistan had been in a fixed spot at 27/2 when Imam stepped in to take the charge.
This is his sixth ODI century. With the fabulous inning, Imam has now become the fastest batsman to have scored six centuries in ODI’s. The record was achieved in 27 innings played. Early, the record was in Sri Lankan batsman name, Upul Tharanga, who had achieved the heights in 29 innings.
Imam’s splendid 151 run innings helped Pakistan team to pilot a 358/9 score in the third ODI against England. At a young age of 23, Imam has become the fifth batsman for Pakistan to have scored over 150 runs. Sanath Jayasuriya scored 152 in 2006 against England, Whereas Indian batsman, Yuvraj Singh scored 150 in 2017.
