MS Dhoni kept his injury a big secret
During the ICC’s mega tournament where India suffered an untimely exit in the Semi-Finals, the wicketkeeper-batsman Mahendra Singh Dhoni sustained a hairline fracture on his finger during the match against England.
The former captain kept the injury hidden from the rest of the world and the reason being his commitment to serve the Indian Army. It is reported that the cricketer is yet to get his finger scanned.
As per sources, Dhoni wanted to keep his injury to himself as he didn’t want any fuss about it and didn’t want the risk of getting disqualified from the training.
Dhoni is at present serving the Indian Army in the Parachute Regiment in Kashmir region and is also been given the honour of unfurling the National Flag in Leh on 15 August.
