The fast bowler who had been resting after the World Cup is expected to join the Test squad in the Caribbean where they’ll be playing two Test series scheduled to being on 22 August.

Bumrah shared a picture of himself with his sister, Juhika and wrote a heartwarming message that read, “Team India duties means I won’t be here for Raksha Bandhan but I just couldn’t miss out on celebrating with you, Juhika. Thank you for always being there for me.”

The first match of the Test series will be played in Antigua (22-27 August), whereas the second will be played in Jamaica (30 Aug – 4 Sept).
