Jimmy Neesham misses his favourite ‘fried chicken burger’ during the lockdown period
The entire world has come under a lockdown due to the outbreak of coronavirus that has forced the human kind to confine themselves to their homes. Cricket too has been deeply affected from the pandemic as many events have been cancelled or postponed for an appropriate time later.
Since the lockdown, many cricketers have made a point to stay connected with their fans and once again New Zealand cricketer Jimmy Neesham took to social media to share his perspective of life and what he craves for at this time, he wrote, “It’s during times like these that you realise the things that really matter in life. It really puts everything into perspective. Shit I’d kill for a fried chicken burger.”
2020 was to hold a major cricket event, Indian Premier League in the month of April, however due to coronavirus the event stands postponed for now till BCCI finds a more suitable window to host the mega tournament.
Ashish Nehra, former Indian pacer believes there is a possibility of hosting IPL during the October-November. “Even if the IPL doesn’t happen in August, there are lot of places in India that witness rains during that month and there are high chances that lots of matches will get cancelled. If things go back to normal around the world by October, we’ll have a 100 per cent clearance,” he stated.
