The Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans team surprised everyone with their performance, with match-winning performances coming from many players.

Hardik was inspirational as a player and captain and was slammed for his failure in the ICC T20 World Cup in UAE. The national selectors dropped him from the squad, and he was also released by Mumbai Indians ahead of IPL 2022.

But he made a successful return to cricket and scored more than 400 runs for his new franchise. The 28-year-old also took 8 wickets in the season and was rewarded with a return to Team India.

“A lot of stuff was said about me before IPL. I woke up at 5 am and made many sacrifices to prove myself. I am proud of the process that I followed,” he said on Star Sports.
