Deepak Chahar will be out despite grabbing two wickets against South Africa!!

Wasim Jaffer believes Arshdeep Singh would keep his spot once Jasprit Bumrah returns.

According to the former India opener, Deepak Chahar will make room for Bumrah because he only bowls well in Powerplay overs.

Arshdeep and Chahar both performed admirably in the opening T20I against South Africa. Chahar added two wickets to Arshdeep's three.

“Deepak Chahar might have to make way for Jasprit Bumrah as he can’t bowl in death overs. On the other hand, Arshdeep is good with the new ball and in the last overs as well,” he said.

Pointing out that Harshal Patel hasn’t been good, Jaffer said – “If Arshdeep bowls a couple of pressure overs, it will help Harshal Patel a lot as he has been struggling with the ball.”
