Former Indian cricketer Reetinder Sodhi said Rishabh Pant has become a huge liability for India, and now it’s time to drop him. However, he spoke in favor of Sanju Samson, but he did not favor Rishabh getting more opportunities. 
Sodhi feels Pant has got enough chances, but failed to deliver. Speaking to India News on Wednesday, he said, “He is a big liability now, and it’s time to drop him. Sanju Samson should get a chance at the end of the day; you got to give a chance to someone better. You can’t afford to lose in the ICC tournaments,” he said.
“When you give too many chances, problems arise. Give opportunities to new guys.”
“Only time will tell how many chances and how long he gets. Time is running away, and he needs to perform. Everything has a limit. You can’t depend on one cricketer for long. Show him the exit door if he is not performing.”
