Wriddhiman Saha is upset with the Bengal Cricket Association, and the veteran has declared the Motera Stadium his new home. Surprisingly, he spent his entire life performing at the famous Eden Gardens. He went back to where he made his dream debut in 2007. After a run-in with the association, Saha will not play for the state team.
Saha is seeking an exit from the Bengal domestic cricket after a CAB official questioned his commitment for state team.
“I am part of Gujarat Titans so my home ground is Motera Stadium. I am no longer playing for KKR so Eden is not my home,” Saha said in a virtual media interaction.
There has yet to be a single IPL 2022 match played in Ahmedabad. When asked if he would play for Bengal at Eden Gardens again, the 37-year-old said no: “I am not able to answer the second part of your question. I have played a lot of games at the Eden but I’m here to play an away game,” Saha said.
