The bowling and batting unit of MI’s failed to create the magic and lost eight consecutive matches in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022.
Former Mumbai Indians cricketer Harbhajan Singh has urged the team to play for pride.
“Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and Kieron Pollard should cheer up everyone as they are senior pros and have been associated with the franchise for years,” he said.
“The team should play for pride as you cannot change the past. The players should play as a unit and focus on the remaining games of the ongoing season,” he added. Lucknow Super Giants defeated MI by 36 runs at the Wankhede stadium.
