Hardik Pandya amassed 71 not out off 30 balls in the first T20I against Australia in Mohali. Former India cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar said that the all-rounder is playing on a different planet after his slump in the Asia Cup 2022.
“We thought he lost his form a bit in the Asia Cup 2022 but has come back to his best quickly,” Manjrekar said while speaking on SPORTS18’s show ‘SPORTS OVER THE TOP’.
“When we talk about form, it is not about his individual score but the kind of impact he is having and the shots he is playing. He is batting on a different planet,” he added.
“Class batting against good rivals. Batting first was not easy, but Hardik was in full flow. Hats off to him.”
