India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja posted a tweet for former Indian player Sanjay Manjrekar, calling him a “dear friend” while watching him on television the two have had a bitter history.
“Watching my dear friend on screen Sanjay Manjrekar,” Jadeja tweeted alongside a photo of the former cricketer.
“I am not a big fan of bits and pieces players like Jadeja. In Test cricket, he is a pure bowler. I would rather have a batsman and a spinner in a 50-over game,” Manjrekar had said.

Jadeja slammed Manjrekar for his statement. “Still, I have played twice the number of matches you have played, and I’m still playing. Learn to respect ppl who have achieved. I have heard enough of your verbal diarrhoea.”
The two recently came face to face during India and Pakistan match in the Asia Cup 2022.
Manjrekar said: “First question. You are ok to talk to me? Right, Jaddu?”. To this, Jadeja replied: “Yeah, yeah (laughs). Absolutely!!”
