"Om Finishaya Namaha": Twitter Goes Out of Control After MS Dhoni's Batted Against Mumbai Indians In IPL 2022!!

Losing the seventh successive game MI’s became the first team in IPL 2022 history to register this unwanted record.  MI looked all set to defeat Chennai Super Kings, in a fairytale finish for his team as Chennai Super Kings beat Mumbai Indians by three wickets in a last-ball thriller at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai but MS Dhoni hit 2 fours and a six to seal the game in CSK’s favor when he needed 17 off 6 balls  Mumbai scored 151/7 after being invited to bat first by Ravindra Jadeja. They could have scored less than 100 had Tilak Varma not smashed 51 not out for the team.

Social media went into saluting the genius of MS Dhoni.

Former England captain Michael Vaughan took to Twitter and wrote: "The GREATEST last over Hitter of all Time #MSDhoni".

Dhoni hit an unbeaten 28 off 13 balls to help CSK inflict a seventh straight defeat for Mumbai Indians this season.

The recent contest was CSK’s second win from seven games, while Mumbai are still searching for their maiden victory of the 15th season.

For CSK, this was their second win of IPL 2022, taking them to four points from seven games.

Gujarat Titans top the IPL points table ahead of Royal Challengers Bangalore. Both teams are on 10 points but GT, who have a game in hand over RCB, are top thanks to a better net run-rate.
