Akram said Ramiz used to stand in the slip Akram further said that Ramiz would drop catches more than he took.

“During the Test match against New Zealand, the first over of the day was bowled by Asif Faridi, a local quick. I bowled the second. I was in my fourth over of the day when John Wright, New Zealand’s captain, nicked to Ramiz at second slip, who dropped the catch. He was in the slips because of his father, who was a commissioner, and because he’d attended Aitchison College. He dropped more than he caught,” he wrote.
