India's fiery batsman Prithvi Shaw recently posted a picture and a mysterious message on Instagram after he was left out of the team that played New Zealand and Bangladesh. Chetan Sharma, who is the chairman of selectors for the BCCI, chose a lot of interesting players for the team, but Shaw once again didn't make it.
When Prithvi Shaw, who is easily one of the best cricketers in India, keeps getting overlooked, it can be frustrating for both cricketers and fans.
Sharma said, ”We are in constant touch with Prithvi when asked about it. He is doing well and he will definitely get his chance very soon.”
Shaw had a strike rate of 191 or more in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament, where he scored 285 runs in seven games.
India will be led by all-rounder Hardik Pandya in the upcoming bilateral T20I series in New Zealand. Shikhar Dhawan will be in charge of the ODI team, since Rohit Sharma will be taking a break as captain for the tour, which starts five days after the T20 World Cup final in Australia.
Not only Rohit, but also Virat Kohli and KL Rahul were given time off during the whole tour of New Zealand. India's vice-captain for both legs of the tour will be Rishabh Pant, who has led India before.

Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan, Deepak Hooda and Sanju Samson will have a chance to impress again in the absence of the senior Indian players.
Meanwhile, pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who was ruled out of the T20 World Cup with a back injury, continues to miss out. On the other hand, speedster Umran Malik has been included in both the squads.
