Mrinank Singh, a Haryana cricketer, duped Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant. Pant's manager Puneet Solanki filed a case against Singh in February 2021, alleging that Singh defrauded him of INR 1.63 crore.

Mrinank was arrested by the Juhu police for duping a Mumbai businessman last week, and the Saket court issued a notice to the Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai to present him.

Pant was told by Singh that he could even resell his high-end items. The southpaw wanted to sell his Richard Mille watch for Rs 62.60 lakh and his Franck Muller Vanguard Yachting Series watch for Rs 36.25 lakh.

Pant also paid him more than INR 2 crore to purchase various luxury items.

Mrinank, however, was unable to obtain the items, and the agreement was terminated after a few months. Both parties reached an oral agreement for INR 1.63 crore, and Singh handed him a check for the amount, which bounced due to insufficient funds.
