Shahid Afridi targets Jay Shah for his statement on Asia Cup 2023!!

Shahid Afridi, a former Pakistani captain, responded to Jay Shah's remarks regarding the 2023 Asia Cup. The Men in Blue won't be travelling to Pakistan for the Asia Cup, and the Asia Cricket Council will likely move the competition to the United Arab Emirates, according to the BCCI secretary.

Afridi took to Twitter and questioned the administrative experience in India. “When excellent comradery between the 2 sides in the past 12 months has been established that has created a good feel-good factor in the 2 countries, why BCCI Secy will make this statement on the eve of the T20WC match? Reflects lack of cricket administration experience in India,” he wrote.

On the other hand, Pakistan is considering skipping the India-hosted 50-over World Cup in 2023. The PCB chairman, Ramiz Raja, is upset with the BCCI and plans to email the Asia Cricket Council to request a meeting in Melbourne to examine Shah's statement.

The Asia Cup was previously hosted by Sri Lanka, but due to political and economic unrest on the island nation, it was moved to the UAE.
