The assistant coach of the Delhi Capitals, Shane Watson was not happy with Rishabh Pant and Pravin Amre, who ran on the field after umpires refused to signal the waist above full toss a no-ball.

Pant, the team’s skipper, was seen signaling the batters to leave the field. Powell had hit McCoy for three consecutive sixes with the Capitals needing 36 off six balls, and the no-ball would have given them an extra delivery to try and win the game.

Watson had to intervene to calm down the nerves, and the match was finally completed with Rajasthan Royals winning the game by 15 runs.

Ricky Ponting the head coach was placed in isolation for five days.

“Delhi Capitals doesn’t stand for what happened in the end. We’ve to accept the umpire’s decision, whether it is right. It’s not good if someone runs out on the field”.
