Babar Azam threw away his wicket after facing more than 4 overs in the ICC T20 World Cup finale against England.
The captain was again lambasted for leaving his team in a lurch during the most important game of the tournament.
Adil Rashid dismissed him on a score of 32 off 28 balls. Batting first, the Men in Green could manage 137/8 in 20 overs.
Shoaib Malik has a request for Babar about a flaw in his batting technique. During a talk show on A Sports, Malik highlighted the Pakistan skipper was undone by a googly. Adil Rashid took two wickets and conceded 22 runs in 4 overs.
“He is getting dismissed a lot on googlies. I want to request Babar to work on his technique against googly,” said Malik.
“If you cannot watch the spinner’s hand, you must watch many videos. Babar will have to make changes. You can’t play a spinner with planted legs. Babar was expecting a leg spin from Rashid but got a googly and was caught off-guard.”
