Shubman Gill took a dig after at facing criticism after a successful run against the West Indies.
With opener batsman Shikhar Dhawan, he played a crucial role in India’s win in the ODI series.
Gill has been also named in India’s ODI squad for their matches in Zimbabwe
Speaking to Telegraph India ahead of the ODI series, Gill said that he is least bothered by what people think and his only focus is on contributing for the team.
“Questions will always be raised but I don’t care about what people think from outside. My job is to score runs for the Indian team. I am doing what my team management wants,” said Gill.
Gill was named the Player of the Series in the Caribbean. The right-handed batter hit 205 runs in three contests.
