Sanju Samson is not in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 team, and his future with Team India has been questioned. But, according to BCCI President Sourav Ganguly, he is still relevant.
He also confirmed his selection for the One-Day International (ODI) series against South Africa.
“Sanju is playing well but missed the selection for the T20 World Cup. He is in the scheme of things and will be a part of the ODI series against South Africa. Also, he has done well in the IPL franchise and is the captain of Rajasthan Royals,” he said.
India won the match by eight wickets against SA with the help of unbeaten half-centuries by KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav.
