Virat Kohli played one of the best knocks in the history of T20Is against Pakistan on Sunday in the ICC T20 World Cup.
Virat's valiant effort, which saw him score 82 off 53 balls as Team India chased 160 runs, made sure they closed on a winning note.
The 31-year-old, who was once at 31/4, led the team to a victory by four wickets.
KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, and Axar Patel were lost for India. Only 12 runs from 21 balls could be scored by Kohli because to his slowness.
After that, Kohli attacked the bowlers and then blamed himself for his sluggish start.
“I really messed up when I was 12 off 21. I thought I had made a massive mistake. I quickly understood the importance of batting deep in a game of such magnitude. I know I can play shots towards the end of the innings,” said Kohli.
The former India captain was all praise for teammate Hardik Pandya with whom he shared a 113-run partnership. Pandya scored 40 runs and took three wickets.
