Virat Kohli scored another milestone in his career by amassing the most ODI runs, i.e., after 250 innings in the second ODI against West Indies at the Narendra Modi stadium.
The former India skipper has scored 12311 runs at an average of 58.35. Sourav Ganguly is second on the list with 9609 runs.
However, Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara, and MS Dhoni are also among the top run-getters
Earlier, Nicholas Pooran sent India in to bat Wednesday as his team chases a victory it needs in the second one-day international to level the three-match series.
In the absence of Pollard, Pooran was leading the West Indies. Odean Smith replaced Pollard in the bowling attack in the only change to the West Indies starting XI.
India also made just one change to the lineup, which won the series opener by six wickets with 22 overs to spare, bringing in Lokesh Rahul to replace Ishan Kishan.
