Rohit Sharma scored two half-centuries while leading India to victory over England in ODIs and T20Is.
Former Australian pacer Glenn McGrath has said that Rohit coming back to good international form is good news for India.
Rohit scored a fine unbeaten 76 against England at The Oval. He played a knock of 64 in the first game of the T20I series against West Indies.
“It is good news. He is a class player. You want a senior player to score runs. Shubman Gill was good in the ODIs. The batters are doing a fine job for the team in West Indies,” said McGrath.
The legendary player also lauded Prasidh Krishna and Avesh Khan. “Prasidh and Avesh representing India in limited overs cricket is a welcoming move. I am really fond of them,” he added.
