Even though head coach Rahul Dravid was adamant about keeping KL in the lineup for the rest of the series, former India captain Virat Kohli was spotted chatting with the batter. He also offered Rahul advice on how he might pull himself out of his funk.
Through it all, Kohli has been there for Rahul. The 33-year-old has always been there for the Bangalore-based batter, from the time of KL's lackluster Test debut in Australia to the present.
Former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan shared his views on Kohli helping the opening batsman.
“If someone like Virat Kohli comes to you and gives confidence, that should be enough for you to get going. I think it will help KL Rahul as he needs that kind of confidence,” said Irfan Pathan.
