India Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane shuts out social media trolls with a recent Facebook post after Team India defeated England by 151 runs in the 2nd Test at Lord’s. Rahane posted a photograph of himself with a caption that read – “My reaction when trolls get trolled!”

Recently, Ajinkya faced a lot of criticism due to lack of performance and his inability to get decent numbers on the board. The 33-year-old batsman, played an important 61-run knock against England helping the side revive from the shock of losing early wickets.

Ajinkya and Pujara together put together 102 during a time when India lost KL rahul, Rohit Sharma and skipper Virat Kohli in crucial hour.
Former cricketers, VVS Laxman and Aakash Chopra praised Pujara and Rahane’s effort and called it a career saving knock as the middle-order batsmen were under a lot of pressure.
“Pujara and Rahane were together after lunch. It was a question of saving their careers. The sword was hanging over them. They came out shining like gold. They scored 49 runs in the session and did not lose a wicket,” said former India opener Chopra while speaking on a video uploaded on his YouTube channel.
“Rahane, on the other hand, was very very good. He was quite dominating against spin. He played the sweep, cut, and jumped down the track also to play shots. Eventually, he will be disappointed with the way he got out.”
