England wins by an innings and 76 runs at Headingley

England cricket team makes a brilliant comeback after defeating India by an innings and 76 runs in the 3rd match of the five-match Test series at Headingley, Leeds. England dismantled India's batting order in the first innings while restricting them to a 78-run total and limited them to a 278-run total in the second. while leveling with series by 1-1.

England's fast bowler Ollie Robinson pulled apart India's batting strength as he dismissed 2 wickets in the first session and 5 in India's second innings crippling Indian force. With a commendable effort England leveled with series by 1-1.

After India's unsuccessful first session of 78 runs, England made a comeback with brilliant contribution of 121 runs from skipper Joe Root followed by Dawid Malan (70), Haseeb Hameed (68) and Rory Joseph Burns (61) helping the side to a 432 total. With a mammoth of a lead, India failed to match results and succumbed at 278 runs in the second innings. 

Robinson displayed brilliant form while managing to move the ball throughout the innings taking timely wickets. His performance grabbed him the 'Play of the Match' title for 2/16 & 5/65.
