Delhi Capitals have emerged as one of the strongest contenders for the IPL title this year. With only two lost matches from the ten played, DC not only became the first team to qualify for the playoffs but also regained the top spot on the points table with 16 points.
On Saturday, DC with yet another power-play defeated Rajasthan Royals by 33 runs in Abu Dhabi. Capitals' skipper Rishabh Pant gushed that their attack is one the best in the league. Delhi's bowling unit, comprising of Anrich Nortje, Ravichandran Ashwin, Kagiso Rabada, Axar Patel and Avesh Khan have done wonders for the side with the best economic rate.
"If not the best, it is one of the best," Pant said at the post-match presentation.
"But we lie to take it as one match at a time. There's a fair bit of planning, as a team we plan according to the batters, and execute according to those plan," he added.
"We (Pant and Iyer) have batted together for a long time. He bats at three and I bat at five normally. So that helps," he said.
