
The inclusion of Rishabh Pant, Rohit Sharma and Ishant Sharma is barred in the white-ball team , T20 squads for the Australia tour on Monday (October 26) as revealed by the national selection committee headed by Sunil Joshi announced the Test, ODI.
Injured Ishant Sharma is also out and will have to wait to wear his 100th Test cap. BCCI’s release mentions Varun Chakravarthy was the only new face in the squad across all formats. Here’s a complete look at the changes made to the national squad –
Test team
The right-handed KL Rahul was dropped before the 2019/20 home season, replacing with Shubman Gill. Ishant Sharma’s void would be filled with Mohammed Siraj, who was part of the Test squad for the home series against West Indies in 2018.

ODI team
A fit-again Shikhar Dhawan and Mayank Agarwal was recalled in the ODI team. Shardul Thakur was also recalled in the 50-over squad. KL Rahul holds vice-captainship of the white-ball team.

T20I team
The only new face in the T20I side is Varun Chakravarthy. Surprisingly, the selectors dropped Rishabh and Kuldeep Yadav from T20I squad while retaining Sanju Samson, who has struggled since his comeback.
