Ravi Shastri issues massive warning to flop Suryakumar Yadav!!

After finishing as the third leading run-getter in the ICC T20 World Cup, he tormented the New Zealand bowlers in the second T20I of a three-match series. He slammed 111 runs to take his team to victory, which turned out to be a series triumph after two matches were impacted by rain.

However, he could not replicate his T20 form in one-day internationals, where he failed in two matches while showing glimpses of himself in one. However, that game was reduced to 29 overs, and SKY got the license to go for his shots, like in the slam-bang version.

Former India head coach Ravi Shastri has warned Yadav about his performance in one-day internationals.

“A fifty-over game is much bigger than the T20 contest. Surya must realize it and take time to settle before going for his shots. He can’t play it like a T20 game. He has to respect the conditions; otherwise, cricket doesn’t wait for anyone. He can easily score 30-40 runs before hitting big,” said Ravi Shastri.
