
Right before India starts their World Cup campaign a massive injury scare brings Team India in a hitch as captain Virat Kohli hurts his thumb. Skipper suffered a thumb injury during a practice session at the Ageas Bowl, Southampton on Saturday. The gravity of the scary still remains uncertain as no official statement has come through.
The skipper was seen with his finger dipped in a glass filled with ice as he was walking off the field. Team’s physiotherapist Patrick Farhart attended the captain. With yet another injury, it is a cause of concern for the team as Kedar Jadhav and Vijay Shankar still haven’t fully recovered from their injuries.
With marely three days to go for their opening of World Cup campaign against South Africa, it is uncertain if Kohli has enough time to make full recovery on time.
