
As India and News Zealand take a point each after the rain decided to play a spoilsport once again on Thursday. After Thursday’s cancelled match New Zealand remains on the top of the chart with 7 points whereas India is in the third position with 5 points in hands.
As the rain continues to play the villain this season but it didn’t manage to bring down the spirits of the cricket fans. On Thursday as the match was abandoned without a ball being bowled, fans didn’t return home empty handed as the Indian Head coach, Ravi Shastri gave them something else to cheer for.
According to the reports, many fans had been waiting under the balcony of the Indian teams dressing room shouting out load “Dhoni, Dhoni”. Former cricketer Ravi Shastri came out and showed them MS Dhoni’s jersey with No.7 printed on it along with Dhoni’s name. The fans were delighted to see their favourite cricketers jersey.
