Once again, Virat Kohli will lead India in the upcoming T20I and ODI series against West Indies scheduled for next month. The selectors announced the limited-over squad on Thursday where Mohammad Shami and Bhuvneshwar Kumar find a place in both T20I and ODI squad.
Kedar Jadhav who had been missing from the scene also found place in the ODI squad. Shivam Dube, the new guy around the block, who made his T20I debut against Bangladesh in last T20I series, has retained his place and will also be joining the team in ODI format.
KL Rahul who was dropped from the ODI series against South Africa has made a comeback and retained his place in T20I as well as ODI squad. Along with Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja has also made a comeback to both squads as Krunal Pandya failed to impress in the last two series.
The leg-spinners Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav will also be seen playing for both formats. Deepak Chahar after a fabulous display of technique as he achieved the best-ever T20I figures in the final T20I match against Bangladesh is the only fast bowler who retained his place. Khaleel Ahmed and Shardul Thakur who had been part of the squad in last T20I series did not find a place in the squad against West Indies in T20I and ODI series.
