Jasprit Bumrah starts training after recovering from back injury

India’s deadly pacer Jasprit Bumrah who is responsible for highlighting India’s bowling attack has been out of action for some time due to a stress fracture of the back. He had sustained the injury in September due to which he was not part of the home series against South Africa and Bangladesh. It is reported that Bumrah will not be participating in the upcoming series against West Indies scheduled to begin on 6 December.

The 25-year-old pacer has started working towards his game after recovery and is undergoing training with IPL franchise Delhi Capitals’ trainer Rajnikanth Sivagnanam at the Mumbai Cricket Association.
“He has been training at MCA. It’s a personal arrangement,” an official source told PTI.

According to reports, the young pacer is expected to return to the field next year for tour of New Zealand, where India is scheduled to play five-match T20I series, three-match ODI’s and two Tests.

On Monday, Bumrah had shared a video of himself on social media where he is seen training in the gym with Sivagnanam.
