Chennai Super Kings coach Stephen Fleming had confirmed the injury and informed that Jadhav will be going for a scan on Monday for further analysis and also stated that his injury did not look good. On a serious note, the World Cup is just a few weeks away, any injury is a matter of concern for the Indian team.

Stephen Fleming said, “Kedar Jadhav will be getting an X-RAY and scan on Monday. I don’t think we’ll be seeing him for the rest of the IPL games. As he is in discomfort, we’ll need to be certain with the assessment tomorrow. We are hoping it’s nothing serious.”

Kedar Jadhav is among the 15-member Team India squad for the ICC World Cup 2019 which is to start on 30 May. Jadhav is expected to sit out of the remaining matches of IPL 2019 considering the degree of his injury.
