Former England captain Michael Vaughan had to face the wrath of the Indian fans after he referred Indian Test pitches to be boring.
On Friday, Vaughan criticized and termed the Test pitches in India to be “Boring”. He stated that Indian pitches are more beneficial to the batsmen rather than the bowlers, hence believes that due to this reason the match remains one sided.
In his tweet, he said, “Test match cricket pitches in India are boring..The first 3/4 days the contest is far too in favour of the Bat.. needs more action for the bowler.. My thought of the day..INDvSA”
After his tweet, the Indian fans from across the country trolled the former cricketer for his views.
The statement came in reference to the on-going Test series between India and South Africa where India holds a steady position after the second day of the second Test putting up a huge score of 601 at the loss of five wickets. The Indian skipper alone scored his highest Test score of 254 runs marking his seventh double century in Test cricket.
