
Former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni posted a video of himself in Kashmir with his battalion amidst the unrest Jammu and Kashmir.
The 38-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman has taken two months off from his profession and devoted that time for his love for the nation by serving in the Territorial Army. Dhoni will be doing a 15-day stint with the Victor Force where he will be taking the duties of guard, patrolling.
It is the first video that has emerged on social media where he is seen playing volleyball with the troops.
In 2011, Dhoni was awarded with the Honorary title of Lieutenant Colonel. And, in 2015 he became a qualified Paratrooper by performing five Parachute jumps in a training camp in Agra. He is a member of the 106 Para Battalion of the Parachute Regiment.
The atmosphere of the Kashmir region has been upset since last few days where there are orders to deploy additional security forces in the valley.
