After Team India’s Semi-Finals defeat against New Zealand, the vice-captain Rohit Sharma return home two days ahead of the team. As the team is scheduled to return back to Mumbai on Sunday, Rohit Sharma was seen at the Mumbai airport on Friday night with wife and daughter.
Rohit had showcased fabulous form in the ICC World Cup 2019 where he struck five centuries and one half-century. He also achieved many records along being the top run-scorer of the tournament. However, his magic in the Semi-Finals failed him as he suffered an early dismissal that paralyzed rest of the team.
Rohit arrived two days ahead of the team as it is reported that the players along with coaches and support staff are left stranded in England due to unavailability of tickets.
It is reported that BCCI have tried their best to arrange the tickets but due to some reason they have not been able to do so. Their return will only be possible on Sunday.
