Yet again a fabulous display of splendid batting skills by Indian opening batsman Rohit Sharma on Sunday broke former Australian cricketer Don Bradman’s 71-year-old record where he achieved the highest average in longer format on home soil.

During the second day of ongoing Test match in Ranchi against South Africa Rohit Sharma managed to achieve this feat with an ease. Bradman had been the proud owner of the record for over a seven decades where he had an average of 98.22 at his home in Test format.

Breaking the record with an average of 99.84 after his double century on Sunday Rohit surpassed the legendary cricketers record. Not only this, he also broke the record of smashing the highest number of sixes in a bilateral Test series.
