After resisting Pink ball cricket for many years, India finally entered the new era becoming the last cricket playing nation to join the camp. Defeating Bangladesh in their first ever Day-Night Test in Kolkata, India once again proved their dominance on the field no matter what the format may be.

Feeling happy with the turn of events, Sourav Ganguly believes, “I feel this is the way forward. Not every Test, but at least one Test in the series,”

“Encouraged by the turnout in Kolkata, other Indian venues are now ready to host Day-Night Test,”

India skipper Virat Kohli received the new innovation on a positive note and stated that Pink ball Tests ought be an exception and not a rule, “I think (Day-Night Test) can be a one-off thing, it should not be a regular scenario.” Kohli had said on the eve of Eden Gardens Pink ball Test match.
