The 31-year-old skipper is just one century away from equalling master blaster’s record of most ODI International centuries on home soil. If Virat Kohli scores another century he would equal Tendulkar’s Indian record of 20 ODI centuries.

Currently, the Indian captain has smashed 19 centuries on home soil and would be looking for every opportunity to register another milestone to his name.

India and Australia locked horns at Wankhede Stadium on Tuesday afternoon where India lost the toss and was put to bat first.
