Youngsters like Devdutt Padikkal, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Rahul Tewatia and T Natarajan are just few names that have emerged as the potential contenders who have what it takes to represent India.
Amongst many, Suryakumar Yadav’s name have come up many times who have not just once but many times have proved his worth and demonstrated an exemplary attitude that sees the team through most demanding situations. During this season of IPL, Suryakumar achieved 480 runs from 16 outings and became the 7th highest scorer.
Australian cricketer Tom Moody praised Suryakumar and said, “Suryakumar Yadav from Mumbai Indians, coming at No. 3, it is just mind-blowing to think that this guy has not represented his country. He bats with great grace, control and he seems to do it without breaking a sweat. To me, he’s a real class act,” Moody said in a video on ESPNCricinfo.
