Troubles rise for Hardik Pandya and K L Rahul as Lokpal sends notice

BCCI Ombudsman Justice (Retd) D K Jain has issued a notice to K L Rahul and Hardik Pandya asking them to appear for a hearing of the pending enquiry of the controversial case in which the players had made an indecent statement regarding women that caused alot of outrage. This happened on Karan Johar’s talk show ‘Koffee with Karan’.

Although, both players had apologized for the same and faced suspension by the Committee of Administrators. The two were temporarily barred from all Cricket related events and activities that were authorised by the board until the final decision. Later the Lokpal ordered that both players could play until the inquiry is complete.

Justice Jain said, “I have issued a notice Last week to both K L Rahul and Hardik Pandya asking them to appear before the court for the hearing.

As both the players hold crucial positions in their respective franchises in the IPL. It is being told that they need to be present for the hearing before the match between Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab on April 11. Lokpal stated that it is very important for the two players to appear for the hearing in order to conclude the case.
