Surpassing former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly, Kohli recorded his 12th Test win in 26 matches. Ganguly had the liberty of celebrating 11 Test wins in 28 matches.

With the marvelous bowling attack of Indian Pacers, the West Indies team succumbed at just 100 runs in 26.5 overs. Jasprit Bumrah’s five wickets crippled the Caribbeans who lost the first Test by 318 runs. Ajinkya Rahane’s 10th Test century help India set a target of 419 that made it next to impossible to chase after the splendid bowling attack of Virat’s men.

The second Test of the two match series, which is part of the World Test Championship, is set to begin on Friday in Kingston, Jamaica. The Indian side will be looking forward to continue with the winning pace as they have managed to win every game of the West Indies tour where so far they played a three match T20 series, three match One-Day International series and the on-going two match Test series.
