
Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli has once again made it to the Forbes 2019 list of world’s highest paid althletes. Last year Kohli was ranked 83rd on the list however this year he moved down to the 100th spot despite of having $1m increase in his endorsements.
The list was announced on Tuesday where Barcelona football sensation Lionel Messi topped the chart with an enormous $127 million from salary and endorsements. He dethroned retired boxer Floyd Mayweather as World’s highest earning athlete. Second on the list is Cristiano Ronaldo with $109 million.
According to Forbes, Virat Kohli’s estimated earning is $21 million from the endorsements and $4 million from salary and winnings, with his total taking coming to $25 million for the last one year.
