
Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen took to Twitter and praised India’s generosity and kindness for sending Covid-19 vaccines to South Africa after a successful drive to vaccinate majority of health workers and others who needed the most.

Pietersen in his tweet said “Indian generosity and kindness grows more and more every single day. The beloved country!”
For almost a year, the entire world has been under the dangerous spell of coronavirus that has taken many lives.
To pietersen’s tweet, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi responded with a heart-warming reply, he wrote “Glad to see your affection towards India.. We believe that the world is our family and want to play our role in strengthening the fight against COVID-19.”
Kevin Pietersen tweet came on Tuesday after External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar posted a picture of an aircraft that had landed with ‘Made-in-India’ vaccines in South Africa. Pietersen was born in South Africa and later moved to England.
Pietersen in his cricketing career, played 104 Tests, 134 One-Day Internationals and 37 T20Is.
