Shashi Tharoor raised questions Rishabh Pant’s place in playing XI!!

The 3rd and final ODI match between India and New Zealand is on its way in Christchurch. The 25-year-old Rishabh Pant registered another failure with the bat. He just scored runs off 16 balls, and the fans quickly took to social media to express their anger towards the southpaw for his repeated failures in white-ball cricket.

Since his first white-ball century against England, Pant has scored 244 runs in 14 innings. Fans want Sanju Samson and Rishabh out. Sanju, who scores runs faster than Rishabh, has been disregarded by selectors for a long time.

Sanju Samson’s supporter list grows with Pant’s failures, and MP Shashi Tharoor is the latest.

Tharoor, a cricket lover, speaks up.

Before the match, Tharoor questioned the management’s decision to prefer Pant over Samson and tweeted, “Pant has done well at No. 4, so it is important to back him,” says @VVSLaxman281. He’s a good player out of form who’s failed in ten of his last 11 innings; Samson averages 66 in ODIs, has made runs in all his last five matches & is on the bench. Go figure.@IamSanjuSamson.”

Tharoor posted a new tweet where he tweeted, “One more failure for Pant, who needs a break from white-ball cricket. One more opportunity denied to@IamSanjuSamson who now has to wait for the @IPL to show that he’s one of the best top-order bats in India.”
