Ben Stokes is underpaid at INR 16.25 crore – AB de Villiers!!

Former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) cricketer AB de Villiers thinks that Ben Stokes is bought underrated by CSK at just INR 16.25 crore.

Stokes broke his previous record of INR 14.50 crore by the now-defunct franchise Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS). However, CSK improved it further in the history of IPL auctions.

He becomes the third expensive player after Sam Curran ( INR 18.50 crore by Punjab Kings) and Cameron Green ( INR 17.50 crore by Mumbai Indians).

“Chennai Super Kings are lucky as Ben Stokes is priceless. He is a leader and will contribute with the bat and ball in the field,” he said on Jio Cinema.

“He is going to win you games in IPL 2023 and that’s what you want as a franchise. Stokes is a bit undervalued and underpaid,” he added.
