The legendary Yuvraj Singh is celebrating his 41st birthday on Monday, December 12. 

The all-rounder was Team India’s hero in their twin wins in 2007 and 2011. 

He played the iconic games in the 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 50-over World Cup under MS Dhoni.

India won against Pakistan in the finale of the inaugural edition of the T20 World Cup in 2007, securing on top against Sri Lanka in the title shot match of the global event in 2011.

Yuvi was named the Player of the Tournament in 2011 despite battling cancer.

His career was cut short by the dread disease, which he defeated. However, he couldn’t replay his magic after recovering from cancer.

In 304 ODIs, he scored 8701 runs with the help of 14 hundreds and 52 fifties. He also took 111 wickets. 

He amassed 1177 runs and dismissed 28 batters in 58 T20Is. Yuvraj also hit 8 fifties in this format of the game.

He scored 1900 runs, with 3 hundred and 11 fifties in 40 contests in Test Cricket. He added nine scalps to his bowling figures.
